IontoPatchThis phoresing system has an innovative self
contained battery inside a specially designed
phoresing pad.The current from the battery
carries drug molecules into the skin and is
then dispersed.This single pad system carries
both the positive and negative drugs.
The IontoPatch provides a steady stream of
medication for a fixed time, then automatically
shuts off. Then simply remove the electrode pad
and discard. The IontoPatch is a comfortable
non-injectable drug delivery system designed for
slower delivery for less skin irritation and convenience.
This system is ideal for equine use. Eliminating needles
reduces the potential of infection and will not cause
tissue damage. Once the pad is filled with medication,
it’s placed directly over the target tissues and left in
place for 24 hrs.The pad is a thin, flexible, breathable
material that conforms and easily adheres to the anatomy
of equines.
Normal activities can be resumed while wearing the patch.
The adhesive used on the patch is hypoallergenic and rinses off
easily when treatment is complete.
